Although they have released many albums in Japan, it has been their recent albums Osc-Dis (Oscillator in Distortion) and 010 which have brought them success in the West with the track Pulse from Osc-Dis being included on the soundtrack for the Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 videogame. The Mad Capsule Markets is a Japanese band which combines heavy guitars with hard programmed beats, as well as many experiments into softer electronica elements, reggae, and pop-influenced punk.
